Menopause Care

Menopause starts one year after your last menstrual cycle, but perimenopause symptoms can start as early as in your 30s. Your midwife can guide you through this transition and help you enter midlife with confidence and good health.
Perimenopause
The years leading up to menopause can be challenging. As menopause approaches, women often have cycle changes, changes in fertility, weight gain, hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and brain fog (among other symptoms). It can be difficult to understand what's happening to your body and how to manage your symptoms. Your midwife can help you by providing you with information, support, nutritional/herbal supplement recommendations, and medication to manage your symptoms. You don't have to go through "the change" alone.
Menopause
One year after your cycles stop, you are in menopause. Some perimenopausal symptoms remain, but some resolve. It can take several years to settle into your new normal.
